1. Over exfoliating
It is recommended to exfoliate 1-2 times per week, to ensure the dead skin cells are erased but the moisture is not sapped from the skin.
2. Using harsh fabrics on your skin
The use of harsh fabrics on the body can be detrimental to your skin health. The Glowdayy Glove is curated from pure silk and works to effortlessly sweep away dead skin and impurities by delicately, yet deeply exfoliating the body.
3. Not apply moisturiser afterward
After each exfoliation, it is vital to apply an ultra-hydrating moisturiser as well as protective sunscreen, so your skin will retain moisture and stay protected.
4. Not soaking your skin beforehand
Prior to exfoliating, it is important to soak your body in a hot steamy shower or bath, for a minimum of 5-10 minutes. This will soften your skin, allowing for a quick and effortlessly of the body.
5. Using the Glowday Glove under running water
When wet, the silk thread of the glove swells to create a grip-like surface. In order for the glove to effectively sweep away dead skin cells, you must exfoliate away from running water. This enables the highest amount of friction to occur so the dry skin can roll off the body.
6. Shaving prior to exfoliation
It is recommended to exfoliate before shaving to avoid irritation and ensure all dead skin is removed. Exfoliating first will also help the hair follicle be in an ideal condition for removal allowing for normal regrowth post-share and avoiding ingrown hairs. As all dead skin will be removed, the razor can avoid being overloaded with dead skin cells, therefore increasing the effectiveness of the shave.
